As we begin this sacred Week of Fasting and Prayer, we come together as a church family with one heart and one purpose: to seek first the Kingdom of God and to learn afresh to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding.
In a world filled with uncertainty, noise, and competing priorities, we are intentionally setting this time apart to draw closer to God—aligning our hearts with His will, listening for His voice, and placing our full dependence on Him. Fasting is not about striving, but about surrender; prayer is not about control, but about trust.
Throughout this week, we invite every member of Malvern Christian Assembly to participate as you are able—believing that as we seek God together, He will renew our strength, clarify our direction, deepen our faith, and prepare us for all that He desires to do in and through us.
May this week be a time of consecration, renewal, and fresh revelation as we fix our eyes on Jesus and declare together: “Lord, we trust You completely.”
“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
— Matthew 6:33
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6
